Since ‘String of Lights’ this poem has haunted me, transported me to where you’ve been; where I long to be.

Thank you for placing it hear for me to reread. And thank you especially for your voice which I hear as I read.

    Swish.

    “Evaporation”
I love the movement in this poem, find at first I want you to keep going, keep on your quest, but when your sweet tooth brings you back into the arms of your sweetheart, I’m happy you arrived in such a good place.

    The Petal Sweeper

    Susan,
This is a beautiful poem. From title to last line, it envelops me, becomes the sari wrapping the life of a woman. I love the repetition of swish, and the thought that what we sweep may be petals.
